A Note from Pastor Roger

Dear Church Family,

Yesterday, we held our fourth annual CityRise Network Leadership Conference. The goal of this conference is to connect and encourage leaders of churches and parachurch ministries, to invest in leaders who invest in so many. We worshiped together, shared a lunch, learned through breakout sessions, and were taught by some incredible, inspiring speakers: Pastor Walter August, Dr. Lawrence Scott, and Dr. Duane Brooks. It was an honor to host and attend along with those who came. I'm thankful to Dr. Mark Edworthy, our CityRise Network Director and Missouri City Campus Pastor, and Dana Richardson for bring this year's conference to life!

As we are lifting up those doing good work in our city, we have a team that has just deployed to Kenya. Please keep them in your prayers and pray that the gospel of Jesus is shared clearly as they serve.

Lastly, one of the most important places we want to lift up around the world is the home. Marriage Night is on Friday evening, October 4. This has always been a fun evening for husbands and wives to learn more ways in how to grow deeper in their love, faith, and responsibilities alongside each other. This year's speakers are David and Denise Glenn who will discuss "Wisdom for Marriage." Dinner and childcare are provided with registration!
