A Note from Pastor Roger

Hey Church Family,
Did you know that one of our sermon clips on Instagram has 165,000 views?
Did you know that our number one most viewed page on our website is cityrise.org/summer?
Did you know that our app, website, YouTube channel, and GLU Network channel, all carry the livestreams of our services each Sunday?
Our Communications Team—led by Media Arts Pastor Justin Kellough and his team of Jason Bergstrom, Mary Ellen Ermis, Wes Matthew, and our Audio Visual Team—spend much of their week working to reach out to newcomers, inform our church body, and propel our content as far and wide as possible through digital media. We do this so that we might reach more people for Christ. So much of this happens through the creation of social media posts, the posting of sermon files, the capturing of podcast recordings, and the updating of websites.
I want to make sure you are aware of the various ways we are trying to inform you, engage our world, and invite people in. Even sending this email to you couldn’t happen without our Communications Team’s diligent guidance. Our app and website have so much content for you; our YouTube and GLU Network channels are full of past sermon series, testimonies, and live worship services; our social media channels on Instagram and Facebook have important announcements, posts of pictures, and general updates about various parts of our ministry. We are striving to go where the people are and shine a light both on Christ and our CityRise family.
So, hats off to this team for all of their efforts and to our volunteers and staff who run cameras, sound, lights, and take pictures of our church in action. Thank you all for what you do to get the message of Christ and His Church out to a lost and dying world!
Expectant,
Pastor Roger
