Dear Church Family,
 
For those of you impacted by Spring Break, I pray this has been a great week for you filled with rest, fun, and an opportunity to reset. We all know it’s just a little speed bump before we race to the end of May and embrace the promise of summer.
 
Speaking of which, CityRise Church has an amazing summer lineup of ministry opportunities for everyone. In addition to our ongoing worship services and regular weekly ministries, we offer a dynamic array of choices for kids, students, adults, and families.

  • Looking for summer fun and ministry opportunities for kids or students? Go to cityrise.org/summer! You'll find options for camps and summer fun provided by our Kids and Students ministries, as well as mission opportunities for older students.

  • For adults and families looking to serve on mission abroad, check out the calendar on our cityrise.org/missions page. We have trips planned to places such as Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and South Africa, among others.

Allow me a quick aside about missions. If you've never been on one, I triple-dog dare you to go this year. I’ve been on mission dozens of times in my life, and every single time I’ve come back longing for more. Never once have I thought, “I wish I hadn’t gone on that trip.” Lives get changed—those who receive your gift of deployment, but as importantly yours for obediently going in the first place. God can use you if you are just willing to be available. He resources us for His call. Just say yes, prepare for the trip, and let Him do the rest!
