A Note from Pastor Roger
Dear Church Family,
I hope you've had a good start to your summer so far. You might remember that over the past two weeks, our CityRise campuses enjoyed some really fun events for a whole lot of kids. We hosted three Vacation Bible Schools (two English, one Spanish) and a VBX for middle school kids. We saw hundreds of smiles, heard a lot of laughter, and loved sharing the gospel of Jesus to so many.
And we're not done yet. Summer is the perfect opportunity for trips and camps, and we've only begun what is sure to be a fantastic summer of Kingdom ministry.

INTERNATIONAL MISSION TRIPS
We have been deploying people throughout the year thus far, but June and July are full to the brim with international mission trips. From our choir, to our students, to our regular Missions opportunities, we are deploying nearly 250 people over the next several weeks to generously share the gospel.
We traveled to Brazil and Kenya recently; soon, our choir will sing across Ireland, our students will provide two different camps in Belize (and later serve in Ireland themselves), and teams and families will minister to folks in Honduras and the Dominican Republic (twice!), all by August 5.
Please pray for these groups, the leaders, and the communities they will reach with the good news of Jesus!

MORE FUN FOR KIDS & STUDENTS
Last week, our Kids and Students ministries stayed in town for their big events. This week, they went a bit farther!
Kids Camp returned for another week to Trinity Pines in Livingston, Texas, and our older elementary students had a blast. According to Kids Ministry Director Jennifer Dennis, the kids were "flexible, kind, and enthusiastic!"

Over in Panama City Beach, Florida, our high school students have been spending time on the beach, in the Word, and in worship together, having the time of their lives. Pray for their safe return and for the hearts of these young people to continue following Jesus in their lives once they're back home.
I pray you have a great weekend, Church Family! We'll see you on Sunday for the next part of our study in the book of Revelation.
Expecting Greater Things,
