A Note from Pastor Roger

Good afternoon, Church Family!

The next two Sundays will be special ones with some special celebrations.

This Sunday is Mother's Day! Every year on our campuses, we want to make moms feel extra special on this day. We want to honor you moms and grandmothers in our congregation and show you how thankful we are for your love, nurturing kindness, and the fun you bring. So, let's dress extra nice and smile extra big this Sunday when we take pictures, maybe have an extra-delicious meal, and enjoy the day with our amazing moms.

Then, two Sundays from now, May 19, is a day we've been mentioning for a while: Deep & Wide Day! We have almost reached two years of the Deep & Wide Generosity Initiative, and we have so much of God's work to celebrate! I'm looking forward to looking back with you—and doing so as a whole six-campus congregation packing the house in Houston Christian University's Dunham Theater.

Remember that there will be no on-campus worship on Deep & Wide Day, only childcare (from 9am-12pm) to allow you to drop off you children and make your way to HCU. Here is a handy map for the location of the theater and where you can park.
