A Note from Pastor Roger
What an incredible Easter, Church Family!
It was so good to be a part of so many amazing moments for Holy Week, culminating in Easter Sunday. Our annual Easter Egg Hunt at Evelyn’s Park was our biggest ever; we had well over 2,500 people participate, and fun was had by all. At our CityRise Missouri City campus, we also had an Easter egg hunt and more for Easter Eggstravaganza, and more than 200 people attended. On Easter Sunday, we had 2,804 people attend one of our ten worship services, and we baptized 25 people on Sunday morning. It was an incredible day where we worshiped, proclaimed the gospel, and exalted Jesus.

I want to thank our staff leadership and volunteers for their vast commitment to our church. It takes a lot of people pulling in the same direction to accomplish what we did this past weekend. Further, let me thank you, as none of this is possible without your financial support.
Speaking of financial support, we are in the final stretch of Deep & Wide. Later this month, our Business Office will be sending out your personalized giving statement that shows what you have pledged and what you have given to date. We are excited to be so close to the end of the construction at our Bellaire campus and so close to finishing the generosity initiative—and we have paid cash all the way through. Let’s finish our commitments and finish these projects without having to add debt.
And let's celebrate the blessing of this two-year journey! Save the date on Sunday, May 19 for Deep & Wide Day. We will gather church-wide for a special service that morning. More details to come!

We are excited to see you this weekend, Church Family. We are also excited for the next three weeks as we, along with several other churches in the Houston area, are doing a three-week series called "Restore the Table" about the importance of family meal time. Visit the Restore the Table site for some great resources and to order the book this series comes from.
