A Note from Pastor Roger

Good afternoon, Church Family.
Israel is still on our hearts this week. If you're wondering why Christians and the church should stand with Israel, then I invite you to find encouragement from this past Sunday in my message entitled "Why the Church Should Stand with Israel." Please continue to pray for peace, safety, wisdom, and God's hand to move during this tense time with His chosen people.
This Sunday morning, at our West U Baptist campus, we will have a very special guest: William Lane Craig. Dr. Craig has been one of the leading voices in Christian apologetics for decades, and we are excited to have him join us during our 8:30am and 11:00am West U Baptist services this Sunday, October 22. If you are unable to join us in person, you’re welcome to be with us online during one of our livestreamed services through our CityRise app, on our livestreams page, or at youtube.com/cityriseorg.
There's much more going on at CityRise including a men's event with a former NFL safety, fall festivities, and an opportunity to donate to the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. See what's coming up in the CityRise Hub Weekly—find it here or in the CityRise app.
See you on Sunday, Church Family.
Stay Expectant,
Pastor Roger
