A Note from Pastor Roger

Good afternoon, Church Family!
Did you know that thirteen children gave their hearts to Jesus this past Sunday at our West U Baptist campus? Rejoice with me! I am so thankful that we get to minister to children nearly every single day of the year. What an honor it is for us to share the good news of Jesus with these boys and girls.
I remember that song from Sunday School that goes, “Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world.” It echoes what Jesus said to his disciples in Mark 10:13–16. It says,
And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.”
In just a few short weeks, we have a great activity that will help kick off the Christmas season. It’s our annual gingerbread house decorating event where families gather and kiddos decorate gingerbread houses for display in their homes this Christmas season. See some photos from last year below and how to reserve your gingerbread house.
