A Note from Pastor Roger
Good afternoon, Church Family!
I learned a new term this week: VUCA. What does it mean? VUCA describes the world in which we live—a world that is volatile, uncertain, chaotic, and ambiguous. Here's what that says to me:
The greater the VUCA around us, the greater our need to be rooted and established in our faith. The greater the VUCA around us, the greater our need to go deeper that we might reach wider. The greater the VUCA around us, the greater our need to seek a life that is calm in the midst of the storm.
With all that is going on in the world, we need to root ourselves in worship by coming together, lifting our voices, praying together, and hearing the word of God proclaimed.
If it’s been a while since you have been with us, don’t let that keep you from coming back to church. We would love to see you and hug your neck. Come join us for our next installment in the life of Joseph and see how he navigated the VUCA in his life.
If you are unable to join us in person, you’re welcome to be with us online at one of our livestreamed services through our CityRise app, on our livestreams page, or at youtube.com/cityriseorg.
Don't forget to visit the CityRise Hub Weekly for upcoming events across all our campuses—find the Weekly here or in the CityRise app.
See you on Sunday, Church Family!
Stay Expectant,
Pastor Roger
