Because You Give: Women's Ministry

Because you give, CityRise Women’s Ministry continues to create meaningful opportunities for women to grow in their faith, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and build lasting relationships with one another. This fall, nine different Bible studies are being offered, bringing together 140 women for a season of spiritual growth, encouragement, and fellowship.

Every woman’s faith journey is unique, and each season of life brings its own joys, challenges, and opportunities to grow closer to the Lord. Through these nine classes, women can find a place to ask questions, study Scripture, share experiences, and discover how God’s Word speaks into their everyday lives. Whether they are seeking a deeper understanding of the Bible, hoping to strengthen their walk with Christ, or simply looking for meaningful connections with other women, these studies provide a welcoming place to grow together.

But women’s ministry is about more than learning Scripture. It is also about walking alongside one another through life’s most difficult moments. While some seasons are filled with celebration and new beginnings, others bring grief, uncertainty, loss, and unexpected change. During these challenging times, having a supportive community can make a tremendous difference.

That is why classes such as GriefShare, DivorceCare, and Streams in the Desert are so important. These studies offer women a place to process difficult experiences, find encouragement, and be reminded that they do not have to walk through hardship alone. In these spaces, women are reminded that God remains present even when life feels overwhelming. They can connect with others who understand their struggles, receive encouragement from those who have walked similar paths, and continue discovering the comfort and guidance found in Scripture.

The impact of these Bible studies extends beyond the classroom. As women grow in their faith and form meaningful relationships, they are better equipped to encourage one another, serve their families and communities, and share the hope of Christ with those around them. Each gathering becomes an opportunity to build a stronger church family rooted in God’s Word and united through His love.
