Dear Church Family,

Thank you to all who gathered for our Business Meeting on Wednesday night! Your participation and engagement matter more than you know. We’re grateful for the unity and clarity the Lord continues to give as we look ahead to 2026 together.

I’d love for you to hear another story from within our church family, that from Jeff and Carolyn Shadwick. Jeff first came to CityRise West U Baptist looking for a neighborhood church where he could truly belong. Carolyn, arriving single and freshly out of college, was searching for the same thing: a place to be known and connected in a city full of large, anonymous spaces. What they found at CityRise was lasting fellowship.

In their interview below, they describe their giving as anchored in two pillars: Fellowship and Missions. And Jeff points to what God says in Malachi as a way to see and “test” what He will do with our cheerful giving. Check out their story below:

We are so excited for how God will provide during Pathways, and it starts this Sunday evening with Advance Commitment Night! After our special time of worship and commitment, make sure you stick around for some extra fellowship time. We are ready to lead out in this historic venture, and we pray you are, too!
