Bellaire Building Dedication
Families from each of our CityRise campuses turned out this past Sunday for the CityRise Bellaire Building Dedication & Celebration. Prayers were lifted up by both adults and children alike at multiple stations throughout the building. We know the Lord will use this place to His glory for decades to come, and we are so grateful for His provision and your generosity in bringing this much-needed renovation to pass. A big thank you to our staff who did such a great job planning this event!
August Apologetics
We are off to a great start in this year's August Apologetics. Nancy Pearcey led the way this week, and we look forward to Abdu Murray joining us next Monday, August 12, at 6:30P at our West U Baptist campus to talk about his book Grand Central Question. These nights are free and are great opportunities to invite friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers to learn along with you.
CityRise Church | Bellaire Español Leadership Transition |
This past Sunday, we thanked Pastor Rick Vasquez and his wife, Maribel, for ten years of leading our Spanish language congregation at the Bellaire campus. Pastor Rick is stepping away as he addresses some ongoing health concerns, but he ended his time as pastor with us on a high note, baptizing several more people on his last Sunday. Please put Rick and Maribel on your prayer-and-praise list and lift them up daily.
During this time of transition, Pastor Justo Robinson of CityRise Church | Missouri City Español will give leadership to this part of our flock. Pastor Justo is excited and committed to caring for the Bellaire Español family and continuing to inspire and engage their volunteer leaders as they do this work together. Please pray for Justo and his wife, Ana, as they take on this extra measure of leadership.

We are currently seeking to fill a number of positions. Perhaps you know a high quality candidate who is looking for an opportunity. Please direct them to our website at cityrise.org/jobs to see what is currently available and to put in an application and submit a résumé if interested
I am so thankful to serve as your Executive Pastor, Church Family. I believe our best days are still ahead. We'll see you on Sunday!
