A Note from Pastor Roger
Good afternoon, Church Family!
The past few weeks have been busy around here! After last week's Pine Cove experience at West U Baptist, middle school camp in north Texas, and a team in Ireland, we spent time this week filming for material you'll get to experience in the near future. It's been busy, but also so rewarding. You'll see soon!
Part six of our seven-part "Lift" series is this Sunday. If you are unable to join us in person, you’re welcome to be with us online during one of our livestreamed services through our CityRise app, on our livestreams page, or at youtube.com/cityriseorg.

Serving in the Dominican Republic - Twice
We also had a team just return from ministry in the Dominican Republic. This is the second trip to the D. R. this summer, as this family mission trip is so popular, we had to open up a second week.
Here are some highlights and pictures that show God's work in the Dominican Republic:
And there are more stories they could tell you. So many lives were touched on these trips, and God showed His love to both the teams who traveled and to the community they served.
Here are some highlights and pictures that show God's work in the Dominican Republic:
- Twenty adults and twenty-seven children went on the first trip, and eight adults and seven children went on the second.
- The teams served in a medical clinic, taught English, performed light and heavy construction, and distributed food to the community.
- Old relationships with locals rekindled with love and encouragement and new Samuel Fund sponsorships.
- We provided VBS and a Bible study for moms.
- We visited a boys orphanage spending time playing baseball, games, doing crafts, sharing a Bible story, and eating pizza and s'mores.
- And our Missions Pastor Chuck Oak and his wife, Karen, led a marriage conference.
And there are more stories they could tell you. So many lives were touched on these trips, and God showed His love to both the teams who traveled and to the community they served.
There is so much happening at CityRise. All of it is possible because you are giving so generously and leaders are leading so excellently, which results in a gospel impact that is growing exponentially.
Have a great weekend, Church Family! I'll see you on Sunday.
Stay Expectant,
Pastor Roger
