Thank you for your interest in the Mercy House, a ministry of CityRise Local Missions. Mercy House exists to demonstrate God’s love in practical and compassionate ways by providing housing and support for patients traveling to Houston for medical care. Our heart is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who are walking through some of life’s most challenging moments.

We recognize that traveling for treatment can be overwhelming—both emotionally and financially. By offering a place to stay for patients and their caregivers who live outside the Houston area, Mercy House helps remove a heavy burden while also surrounding guests with a caring, Christ-centered community.
Mercy House is more than just a place to sleep. Guests are welcomed into homes filled with prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. Each of our houses is a shared-living environment, with patients and caregiver sharing a bedroom with an on-suite private bathroom.

Please note that Mercy House
• cannot accommodate smokers;
• requires each patient to have a caregiver;
• can only accommodate the patient and the caregiver;
• cannot accommodate children unless the patient is a child;
• cannot accommodate guests who live or have relatives who live within an hour of the Texas Medical Center or treatment facility.
• is not a medical care facility nor do they supply any medical equipment or support.
