WHO IS YOUR GOD? 🤔 Confronting Pharaoh & God's Sovereignty in Exodus 7

Nov 10, 2025  •  Dr. Roger Patterson, Dr. Mark Edworthy, Tim Yeager

Welcome to Sermon Conversations! 🎙️

In this episode, the teaching pastors of CityRise Church gather to discuss the Scripture focus for the upcoming sermon: Exodus Chapter 7, verses 1-24. This critical passage sets the stage for the plagues, as Moses and Aaron return to Pharaoh with God's message.

The core theological question we unpack is: "Who is your god?". Through this conversation, we explore how God demonstrates that "He is God"—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—and that there are "no exceptions to Him". We dive into the profound meaning of God saying to Moses, "I have made you like god to Pharaoh".

Join us as we discuss the history, theology, and practical application of this foundational text, including the importance of humility and being led in the "way of everlasting".
