This vital role in our church will provide pastoral leadership for students 6th-12th grades, their parents, and the student volunteer leaders at the Crosspoint Church - Bellaire campus. Our vision for this position is to assist us in reaching students from the Crosspoint campus, but our expectation is to have a cohesive student ministry across both inner-loop campuses (West U Baptist and Crosspoint) led by the Global Student Pastor and a close-knit Student Ministry Associate team. This is a full-time position that will report to the Global Student Pastor.

The Girls’ Ministry Associate is a full-time position to assist the Student Ministry in relationships and administration with a focus on ministry to girls, administration, and other details.

The associate will oversee some details of event planning, communication with parents and adult leaders, and lead the way in meeting the needs of girls. She will develop the ministry in a way that helps girls experience Jesus and help them become fully devoted followers of Christ. She will help the student ministry connect with parents and adult leaders through communication and training. She will be in contact with parents and adult leaders regularly to understand their needs and have a connection with what is happening in the lives of the students.

The A Children's Village Preschool Teacher will help students learn age-appropriate attitudes, skills, and subject matter that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christians. Teachers ensure that all students are supervised in a safe, nurturing, Christian environment. Academic excellence requires teaching basic social skills and a foundation in early learning in personal hygiene, Bible, music, art, science, and literature age appropriate for children from 6 weeks - 4 years old and promote physical, mental, and social development. All teaching must utilize a Biblical worldview.

CityRise Preschool Teachers are leaders in the classroom and teach children who range from birth to five years old during Sunday morning and weekday activities. The teacher’s goal is to partner with our team to provide a fun and safe environment for children to grow and learn more about God’s love. Teachers in preschool classrooms will lead Bible lessons, crafts, and games that are provided for each age level; teachers in infant and baby classrooms will provide a safe and loving environment that strives to meet the individual needs of each child in their care.
This position serves the ministries of a thriving network of churches in the center of Houston and Missouri City. It is responsible for maintenance and repair and to support the general building operations, grounds, and transportation equipment for CityRise. Responsibilities are achieved by participating with a team that supports and cares for one another.
