CityRise Church is honored to host the upcoming blood drives, recognizing the importance of supporting our local hospitals and emergency services. By giving blood, you can help save lives, support medical treatments, and contribute to the well-being of our community.

Agape Development Ministries transforms neighborhoods by preparing Christ-following leaders. Volunteer as a Bible Club Reading Assistant, provide childcare, or assist with Teen Programs. Join us!

Houston Welcomes Refugees

Houston Welcomes Refugees eases the resettlement process for refugees by mobilizing caring volunteers and fostering hope. Get involved by joining a Welcome Team, helping with Move-In, or providing Welcome Kits for children.

Project One Day

Project One Day is a faith-based childcare cooperative supporting single parents. Volunteer by working with children, helping with book and toy drives, or providing skilled construction labor. Join us in making a difference!

The Riverside Project

The Riverside Project supports foster and kinship families, along with their communities. You can help by becoming an approved foster babysitter (training required) or assisting families to keep children in their homes. Join us! Specify your interest in the form below.

Tutoring

CityRise needs volunteers to tutor at Shearn Elemenatry on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30A-1:30P. You can choose the hour and the grade you want to tutor with. Children are on a waiting list—get involved today! Specify your interest in the form below.

Christian Community Service Center

The Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) aids those facing hunger. You can help by donating food bi-monthly at Crosspoint Church or any CCSC location, or by volunteering in the community garden.

Missouri City Food Distribution

CityRise Missouri City offers food to neighbors in need  Come join us in making a difference! Specify your interest in the form below. Last Saturday of each month from 9-10am at Missouri City

Freedom Church Alliance

The Freedom Church Alliance (FCA) unites churches and organizations to combat human trafficking in Greater Houston. Volunteer with FCA partners by bringing food, mentoring, or outreach, or create GO BAGS for trafficking victims.

International Friendship

The world is here in Houston! Through the International Friendship Ministry, you can make a difference. Volunteer to teach or assist in ESL classes, or “adopt” an ESL student or visiting scholar. Specify your interest in the form below.

Prestige Learning Institute

Prestige Learning Institute empowers immigrant and refugee families to thrive in the U.S. Volunteer as an after-school mentor, ESL teacher, helper, substitute, or men’s community volunteer to make a difference.

STCH

South Texas Children's Home (STCH) Ministries offers Faith & Work and Faith & Finances classes to help people discover and fulfill God’s purpose. Volunteer to lead these classes and guide others in their journey.

Casa El Buen Samaritano

Casa El Buen Samaritano offers free medical care to low-income and uninsured individuals. Volunteer one night a month as a healthcare provider or provide administrative support like greeting and data entry.

Mercy House

Mercy House Ministries shows God's love by housing those traveling to Houston for medical care. Volunteer by offering a spare room, coordinating at a Mercy House, providing rides, or purchasing items from the Amazon Wish List.

The Blood Center

The Blood Center supplies blood to hospitals to save lives. You can help by donating whole blood or platelets.

Coffee makers, toasters, hand mixers, rice cookers, tea kettles, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, baking dishes, fry pans (large and small), cutting boards, oven mitts, glasses, dishes, bowls, measuring cups, measuring spoons, muffin tins, bread tins, bowls of all sizes, can openers, vegetable peelers, graters, utensil trays, knives, forks, spoons, sharp knives.

LINENS
Used is fine, but not stained or torn. Double or queen-sized bed sheets and pillowcases, pillows, bath and hand towels, wash cloths, kitchen towels, blankets, bedspreads. (No twin bed sheets)

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
Wastebaskets, small and large; laundry baskets; brooms and dustpans; irons; ironing boards, small and large; desk lamps; lamps.

Small pieces of furniture, chairs, small tables, card tables and chairs, things that can be transported in a regular car. We have very limited storage (only one room).
