Because You Give: VBS/VBX Recap

Because you give, VBS and VBX were an incredible week of faith, fun, and life-changing moments for more than 550 children and middle school students. Throughout the week, our campus was filled with energy, laughter, and excitement as kids and students gathered to learn more about God's love and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Each day was intentionally designed to help participants encounter Christ in meaningful ways. Through engaging worship, biblical teaching, interactive activities, games, and small-group discussions, children and students were encouraged to deepen their faith while building lasting friendships with one another. They were also surrounded by caring volunteers and leaders who invested in them, modeled Christlike living, and helped create an environment where every child felt seen, valued, and loved.

One of the greatest joys of the week was watching spiritual growth take place in the lives of so many young people. As they learned about God's truth and experienced His love, many took important steps in their faith journey. The week culminated in a powerful celebration on Friday as seven children and students publicly declared their faith in Christ through baptism. Seeing these young believers take this step of obedience was a reminder of the eternal impact that can happen when a church comes together to invest in the next generation.

The impact of VBS and VBX extended beyond our campus as well. Throughout the week, participants were encouraged to think beyond themselves and learn about God's heart for the world. Together, the children and students collected more than $3,000 in offerings that will support CityRise missions. Their generosity will help share the hope of the Gospel with people both locally and around the world, demonstrating that no one is too young to make a difference for God's Kingdom.
