Dear Church Family,
 
Over the past few weeks, our church family has experienced some truly special moments together as Pathways has begun to unfold. Advance Commitment Night (February 22) and Commitment Sunday (this past Sunday, March 1) were filled with worship, testimonies, prayer, and the quiet courage of people stepping forward in faith.
 
One of the central Scriptures guiding this season is 1 Chronicles 29:16: “O Lord our God, all this abundance . . . comes from your hand and is all your own.”
 
In that passage, God’s people were bringing offerings for the building of the temple, and David reminded them of a powerful truth: everything given to the Lord ultimately comes from Him. That perspective has shaped Pathways from the beginning, from us recognizing that we simply return to God what already belongs to Him.
 
Advance Commitment Night was especially memorable. Close to 200 people gathered for worship and testimonies at the West U Baptist campus, and many took an early step of commitment toward the Pathways vision. Afterward, on the playground and future site of the Gallery space, we shared ice cream and conversations about the hopes for what God may do through the (next hundred) years ahead.

Then on Commitment Sunday across our campuses, many more joined in that same spirit of faith—submitting commitment cards, praying together, and taking part in what God is beginning through Pathways.

Looking ahead, we want you to be ready for Sunday, March 22 when we’ll gather for a special morning called Pathways Celebration & First Big Give. During our services, we’ll share a Pathways update on commitments and encourage everyone to bring their first gift toward Pathways.

A quick reminder that Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend, so don’t forget to spring forward Saturday night! And since Spring Break begins for many families next week, we’re praying that those who are traveling enjoy a refreshing and safe time away.
