A Note from Pastor Roger

Take a Step into Community
Dear Church Family,
What a joy it was to celebrate Easter together!
Across our campuses and events—from Maundy Thursday and Missouri City Español’s Good Friday service, to two egg hunts across the city, Easter baptisms, and our nine Easter Sunday services—we had the thrill of seeing 2,989 come to worship and the privilege of meeting so many new faces and families. (Enjoy the suite of pictures at the end.) Some are new to the area, others are simply looking for a church to call home. If that’s you, I want you to know that we’re really glad you’re here.
And we want to help you take your next step!
At CityRise, one of the first steps we encourage is finding community through Community Groups.
Community Groups are where you can build real relationships, grow in God’s Word, and be known and cared for by others. They’re incredibly meaningful, and getting connected is simple because you can just show up!
There’s no registration process, no prerequisite knowledge, and no pressure. Our groups meet for classes on Sundays across all our campuses, and there’s always someone ready to welcome you in the classroom or at the Welcome Center to help you find your place.
You can explore available groups and when they meet at cityrise.org/communitygroups.
Our team would love to meet you and help you take that step into community.
Church Family, whether you’ve been here for years or just joined us this Easter, community is how we grow in depth and connection with one another. Don’t miss the opportunity to step into something that can truly shape your faith.
We’ll see you on Sunday, Church Family.
Expecting Greater,
Pastor Roger
