Dear Church Family,
 
Sometimes it’s the simplest moments that remind us most of who we are as a church. This was on full display at our Palm Sunday picnics at our CityRise West U Baptist and Bellaire campuses. It was a joy to spend time together, reconnect, and see so many from our church family enjoying the beautiful weather! (Be sure to check out a few photos at the bottom of this email.)
 
Throughout The Power of the Cross Easter series, we’ve walked through the story of redemption from its earliest pages in Genesis to the cross itself. We’ve taken time to consider the weight of sin, the promise of a Savior, and the cost of Christ’s sacrifice. Along the way, we’ve also responded through trust, surrender, and following Him more closely.
 
As we step into the heart of Holy Week, we’re arriving at one of the pivotal moments of Jesus’s final days before his crucifixion. Tonight, we will gather for Maundy Thursday, a meaningful time to reflect on His last supper, share communion, and prepare our hearts for what’s ahead. I hope you'll join us.

And then, we come to Easter Sunday.
 
Sunday morning, through worship, baptisms, and the ultimate power of the gospel, we will gather to celebrate the empty tomb and the hope that comes with it! Because Jesus lives, we have a sure foundation for our faith and a real hope that carries into every part of our lives.
